Rock Climbing Summer Day Camp
Push technical skills and explore the vertical world around Chattanooga with a week of rock climbing experiences!
Add rock climbing to your child’s summer experience!
Activities:
Your child will receive age-appropriate skills instruction in rock climbing including bouldering, rappelling, toprope climbing, and applicable Leave No Trace principles. Sport climbing and/or anchoring basics may be presented to those that are ready. We will facilitate group discussions relating to our four learning outcomes each day and present many opportunities to try out new skills and understandings. We will also cool off in local swimming holes after climbing whenever possible!
Activities will take place at a wide variety of locations around Chattanooga, with transportation provided via 15-passenger van. All sport-specific gear is provided. Group size will be capped at 12 participants.
We will intentionally be out exploring rain or shine, which will provide excellent learning opportunities.
Cost:
Rock Climbing Camp is $600 per child, with a multi-child discount available (first child $600, additional children within the same family $565 each). A deposit of $150 per child will be due at the time of registration and will be applied to tuition.
Daily Schedule:
Drop-off (9:00am) and pickup (4:00pm) will be at Restoration Southside Church (3146 Broad Street Chattanooga, TN 37408).
Our activity location for each day will be within 1 hour of Chattanooga. Activity for each day will be selected based on weather. We will take time for a mid-morning snack and lunch over the course of the day’s adventures.
