“YES programs are incredible! They have so much to offer, from homeschool multi-sport groups, high school programs, and a variety of summer/break camps. YES shows kids real adventure, while teaching them safety and conservation principles, and promoting a love and appreciation for creation! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, well-trained, do a wonderful job managing youth groups, plus seem to genuinely love what they’re doing. YES has made a big difference in my son’s life, it’s been a huge part of his homeschool education experience and allowed him a chance to experience so much of Chattanooga’s nature rich landscape in a variety of ways: climbing, hiking, paddling, caving, even canyoneering! My son has developed a great love of the outdoors in part due to his positive experience at YES in any weather. They even help out with clean-ups, trail building, and conservation efforts.
